Admission Procedure

Applying for a course at any university for admissions or scholarships is a straightforward process. By following these simple steps, you can easily apply for your desired program, whether it’s for undergraduate, master’s, or Ph.D. studies.

Prepare Required Documents

International applicants are required to provide the following documents to support their application:

  1. Passport & Passport Size Photo (Scan Copy): Ensure you have a valid passport. If you don’t have one, make arrangements to obtain it from your home country. The passport size photo should meet specific criteria, including size, background, and appearance.

  2. Academic Transcript and Certificate (Notarized Copy): Provide your academic transcripts and certificates corresponding to the level of the program you’re applying for (e.g., school transcripts for undergraduate, undergraduate transcripts for master’s, and both for Ph.D.). All transcripts and certificates must be notarized and, if necessary, translated into Chinese or English.

  3. CV/Resume: Prepare a comprehensive CV or resume that highlights your academic achievements, research, and relevant experiences.

  4. Physical Examination: Undergo a medical examination to ensure you are in good health. This physical examination must cover all the items specified in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form.

  5. Police Clearance Certificate: Obtain a police clearance certificate, also known as a “No Criminal Record Certificate,” to demonstrate your good conduct.

  6. Bank Statement: Provide a bank statement to prove your financial capacity for self-sponsorship during your studies.

  7. English Proficiency Certificate: If required, submit an English proficiency certificate to demonstrate your language skills. This can be obtained from your school or university or through tests like IELTS or TOEFL.

  8. HSK Certificate of Proficiency in Chinese (if applicable): If you plan to study in Chinese and apply for the CSC scholarship, you may need to submit an HSK certificate of proficiency in Chinese.

  9. Recommendation Letters (for Master’s and Ph.D. Applicants): If you’re applying for a master’s or Ph.D. program, provide two recommendation letters. These should be written by individuals who know you well and can speak to your academic and personal qualities.

  10. Study Plan/Research Proposal (for Master’s and Ph.D. Applicants): If you’re pursuing a master’s or Ph.D., submit a study plan or research proposal in English. This study plan should outline your educational goals and research interests.

  11. Study Gap Certificates (if applicable): If you have taken a gap year or a break in your studies, provide a study gap certificate to explain the reasons for the gap.

  12. Application Form: Complete this application form in  English. Ensure that all information is accurate and complete.
